Where we spend our funds
The Friends are proud to have collaborated over the past 25 years with the City of Greater Bendigo, and helped make wonderful improvements to the Gardens.

So far, our financial contributions to the Gardens total exceed $96,000. Some significant contributions over the years include:

• 2019 Heritage fence at the Memorial Arch $15,000
• 2018 Timber seating in the Garden for the Future $20,000
• 2016 Contribution towards a shade house for plants $5,000

Since November 2021 we have spent $11,125:

• developing our website
• improving the Nursery benches & shading
• purchasing a defibrillator to help keep the Friends and the public safe
• on signage around the gardens.
