No special experience is required, we welcome your help and enthusiasm. The Friends will happily advise & assist with all tasks.

Growing Friends propagate plants for sale in the Nursery, from plants growing in the Botanic Gardens.

Gardening Friends do general gardening work like weeding, deadheading and clearing, with guidance from the park staff.

We meet each Tuesday 9.30 am–11.30 am at the Samuel Gadd Centre in the Heritage Gardens.

We supply aprons, gloves, hi-vis vests & garden tools.
