We welcome your help and enthusiasm. No special experience is required, and the Friends will happily advise & assist with all tasks.

Growing Friends propagate plants sourced from the Botanic Gardens for sale in our Nursery.
Gardening Friends do general gardening work like weeding, deadheading and clearing, with guidance from the park staff.

We'll supply all aprons, gloves, hi-vis vests & garden tools.

We meet each Tuesday 9.30-11.30 am at the Samuel Gadd Centre in the Heritage Gardens, and Saturday plant sales are run by a rota of volunteers from both groups.
