The Australian Association of Friends of Botanic Gardens represents the interests of Friends of Botanic Gardens throughout Australia and New Zealand. The association produces a bi-annual newsletter, organises tours and a Biennial Conference and supports the growth of societies or associations interested in the conservation, development, and public appreciation of Botanic Gardens.
The Botanic Gardens Australia and New Zealand Inc (BGANZ) is the chief body representing the interests of botanic gardens in Australia and New Zealand. It promotes the interests and activities of Australian and New Zealand botanic gardens and botanic gardens generally and enhances the state of botanic gardens for the benefit of the community.
