No special experience is required. The Friends are happy to advise & assist with all tasks.
When we meet: Each Tuesday at the Samuel Gadd Centre in the gardens 9.30 am – 11.30 am.
What we do: Growing Friends propagate plants for the nursery which is open for sales on Saturday mornings.
Gardening Friends undertake general gardening work (such as weeding or deadheading plants) with guidance from the park staff.
What to bring: Just your own garden gloves.
We supply: Protective aprons, safety vests & garden tools.
